India T20 captain Harmanpreet Kaur has shared her excitement prior to their one-off Test against England. Indian team has already toured England to play a full-fledged series, including a one-off Test in Bristol, followed by three Tests and as many ODIs as well. Kaur admitted that playing a Test match is a challenging prospect, but it’s exhilarating at the same time as well.
However, India will play another Test against Australia later this year which will be a pink-ball Test at the WACA. Meanwhile, this will be their first Test in Australia since 2006 and they will try for redemption after losing the game 15 years ago by an innings and four runs as well. And, Mithali Raj will lead her side down under too.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, the BCCI has unveiled the Indian team’s Test jersey, which they would be wearing in the one-off game. Bristol, which will host the Test, host one of the three ODIs as well. Taunton and Worcester will host the next two ODIs. On the other hand, Northampton, Hove, and Chelmsford will host the three T20Is.
