Star all-rounder Ellyse Perry is currently playing in the inaugural WPL where she is representing the Royal Challengers Bangalore Women.
The WPL has already unearthed some fine young talents. The foreign players have also added value to the league. Ellyse Perry is one of the finest cricketers going around and her presence will be invaluable for the youngsters in the group. Perry was picked up by RCB in the auction for 1.7 crore.

RCB has had a tough time so far in the competition. They have so far lost all three of the matches they have played and are languishing at the bottom of the table. Perry has got off to starts in each of the three matches but hasn’t converted them to big scores. With the ball, she has gone wicketless in the three matches.
Time is running out for RCB and they will hope for Perry to find form quickly. On a lighter note, during a photoshoot, Perry was asked who she would choose as her opening partner. The two options were Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni. Perry gave an epic response to this question.
“Will pick both of them to open together so I can watch from outside,” said Perry in a video posted by the official RCB account.

We also wouldn’t mind watching Kohli and Dhoni open the batting together.
When is Royal Challengers Bangalore Women playing their next match?
RCB Women will be in action on the 10th of March, Friday. They will go up against the UP Warriorz.
This match will be played in the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. UP Warriorz have played two matches so far in the competition and have won one and lost one. They won their opening encounter against Gujarat Giants but lost to Delhi Capitals Women in their second match.
RCB will have to come out all guns blazing if they have to turn things around. They could ill-afford another loss.
