The itinerary for both men’s and women’s international cricket for the years 2023 and 2024 was announced by Asian Cricket Council (ACC) chairman Jay Shah.
Women’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup
The first event that women’s teams of the Asian nations will play is the Women’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup. This event will be played by the A teams of Asian nations – India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. Teams from Thailand, UAE, Hong Kong, and Malaysia will also feature in the event. We will get to see many talented players getting great exposure at the tournament which promises to be an exciting affair. The exact dates haven’t been declared as yet but the tournament will be held in June 2023.

This is the only women’s event on the Asian circuit for 2023. However, there’s a lot of action coming the way of women’s cricket fans in 2024.
Women’s T20 Challenger Cup
The first women’s event of 2024 is going to be the Women’s T20 Challenger Cup. This event will feature the Asian Women’s Associate teams that rank 9 to 18. The 10-team tournament will be held in February 2024.
Women’s T20 Premier Cup
This event will be contested by 6 teams. The nations ranked 5 to 8 will be joined by two qualifiers and the tournament will be held in May.
Women’s T20 Asia Cup
This is going to be the biggest event in the Asian calendar in 2024 for women’s cricket. Six teams will compete for the prize. The teams that will be taking part in the tournament are in the table below:
