England was able to win the game by 7 wickets. West Indies did try their level best, trying to secure a defendable score and then in the second inning gave their absolute best with the ball in hand. England on the other hand seemed invincible with perfect batting and bowling balance.

The game at Boland Park started off with West Indies winning the toss and claiming to bat first. Openers Hayley Matthews and Stephanie Taylor started off. No major success for Taylor, who was bowled before the wicket way too early at just 3 runs.
