WPL 2025: Women’s Premier League 2025 Mini Auction To Take Place In Bengaluru On December 15 – Reports

A mini-auction for the Women’s Premier League 2025 (WPL 2025) will take place on December 15 in Bengaluru.

According to an ESPNCricinfo report, the mini-auction will take place in December. Each of the five franchises will have a total budget of Rs 15 crore, up from Rs 13.5 crore last year as well.

Gujarat Giants, the team that finished last in the first two seasons, will have the most amount available to spend – Rs 4.4 crore – as they have released seven players from the squad.

Meanwhile, defending champion Royal Challengers Bengaluru, led by Smriti Mandhana, will have a purse of Rs 3.25 crore whereas two-time runner-up Delhi Capitals will have Rs 2.5 crore as well.
