The much anticipated second season of the Women’s Premier League 2024 (WPL 2024) is here. The tournament features five teams namely – Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Mumbai Indians (MI), Gujarat Giants (GG), UP Warriorz (UPW) and Delhi Capitals (DC).
For the uninitiated, Mumbai Indians were crowned champions for the inaugural edition after remarkably defeating Delhi Capitals in the finals. The mini auctions of the WPL 2024 edition took place on the 9th of December and saw over 165 players go under the hammer. Among them- 30 players (21 Indian and 9 overseas) players acquired by the five franchises.
WPL 2024 is all set to get underway from the 23rd of February and span till the 17th of March, 2024.

The Women’s Premier League will be telecasted live on the Sports 18 (HD/SD) channels for television viewers.
