The team conceded a mammoth 223 runs in the first innings, with Heather Knight being the pick of the bowlers, picking up two wickets.

During the chase, RCB failed to build partnerships and lost wickets at regular intervals. Smriti Mandhana top-scored with 35 off 23 balls, while Ellyse Perry scored 31 off 19 balls, Heather Knight made 34 off 21 balls, and Megan Schutt contributed an unbeaten 30 off 19 balls. However, none of their batters managed to score big and capitalize on the starts they got.

RCB finished their innings at 163/8, losing the game by a huge margin of 60 runs. The team will need to improve their performance in all departments of the game and put up a better show in the upcoming game against Mumbai Indians.
