Andhra, after winning the toss and opting to bat, posted a challenging total of 171/5 in their 35 overs. The standout performer with the bat was captain and wicketkeeper Deeksha Katragadda, who top-scored with an impressive 92 runs off 102 balls, including 9 fours and a six. Sahithisri provided solid support with a crucial 51 off 73 balls, forming a key 133-run partnership with Katragadda. Despite wickets falling at regular intervals, Andhra’s middle-order contributions, including Dhana Sri Raj (1*), B Madhura Sanjana Priya (1*), and 18 extras, helped them reach 171/5.

Uttarakhand’s bowlers struggled to break through, with Pari Sharma (1/19) and S Prasad (1/15) picking up a wicket each. Aadhya (1/15) and others, including Vedika and Harshita, were unable to contain the run flow.

In reply, Uttarakhand was bowled out for just 69 in 29.1 overs. Deveshi’s top score of 18 was the only significant resistance, as wickets fell at regular intervals. The Uttarakhand batting lineup crumbled under pressure, with Akshaya Vadde (3/14) and B Tejashwini (2/11) leading the charge with the ball. Valli (2/14) and Chakrika Dandu (2/15) also contributed to the fall of wickets, and the side was dismissed in under 30 overs.

Uttarakhand’s innings was marked by early setbacks, with the loss of wickets at 1, 3, 8, and 20, followed by quick dismissals after brief partnerships. They were ultimately bowled out for 69, with no one able to make a lasting impact on the scoreboard.

Andhra’s all-round performance ensured them a comfortable win by 102 runs, earning them 4 points in the tournament.

Pondicherry vs Meghalaya: Pondicherry Won by 135 Runs

Pondicherry secured a dominant 135-run victory over Meghalaya in their Women’s Under-15 One Day Trophy match at Railway Stadium, Bhubaneswar.

After winning the toss and electing to bat, Pondicherry posted a formidable total of 184/6 in 35 overs. Anjum top-scored with 52 runs off 84 balls, while Shivani contributed a quick 28 off 28 balls.

Hansika’s run out at 15 off 10 balls, and Haripriya’s dismissal for 19, helped steady the innings. Late contributions from Agalya (10*) and Deepasri (3*) ensured Pondicherry reached a competitive total. Meghalaya’s bowlers struggled, with J Pyngrope and D Sangma claiming two wickets each.

In response, Meghalaya was bundled out for just 49 in 29.5 overs. The team’s batting woes were evident as they were reduced to 25/4 by the 13th over. Only J Fancon, who remained unbeaten on 10, showed some resistance, but wickets continued to fall at regular intervals.

Agalya and Dakshata were the stars with the ball, claiming 2 wickets each, while Anjum and P Ajita also made vital contributions with the ball. Meghalaya’s batting collapse was complete when they were all out in the 30th over.

Pondicherry’s all-round performance ensured a commanding 135-run victory, earning them 4 points from the match.

Maharashtra vs Himachal Pradesh: Maharashtra Won by 3 Wickets

In a thrilling encounter, Maharashtra clinched a 3-wicket victory over Himachal Pradesh in the Women’s Under 15 One Day Trophy at Driems Ground, Cuttack.

Himachal Pradesh, after electing to bat first, struggled to build partnerships, posting a modest total of 113/9 in 35 overs. Captain Ahaana Sharma top-scored with 48 off 49 balls, including 9 fours.

However, the rest of the batting line-up failed to make significant contributions. Jiteshri Damale (2/9) and Shreya Jagadale (2/19) were the standout bowlers for Maharashtra, with Grisha Kataria also taking 2 wickets for 17 runs.

In reply, Maharashtra chased down the target in 33.4 overs, finishing at 114/7. Himachal’s bowlers fought hard, with Mannat Kaur claiming 4 wickets for 30 runs. However, Maharashtra’s middle-order held firm. Sahej Kaur remained not out on 19, guiding her team to victory.

Despite early setbacks, Maharashtra’s lower order, including Srushti Bhange (15*) and Arya Jambhulkar (9), ensured they reached the target. Ahaana Sharma took the lone wicket for Himachal, with Riya Sharma and Mannat Kaur contributing with two wickets each.
