The Sydney Thunder have announced that, for their WBBL Derby match on November 26, a specifically designated seating area at the venerable Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) will be christened in honour of Sri Lanka skipper Chamari Athapaththu.
The designated seating area for the highly anticipated match in the ongoing Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) ninth season will be called “Chamari Bay,” in an effort to honor the captain of Sri Lanka’s cricketing brilliance.
