The Senior Women’s State Selection Committee of the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) on the 16th of November announced the probables for the U-23 Women’s T20 Trophy 2023-24. The tournament is scheduled to start from 10th December 2023 and will span up to 25th December 2023.
Making headlines in this probables list certainly has to be Shreyanka Patil who had a breakout year in India colours at the Emerging Asia Cup 2023 tournament. The youngster has also been making the right noises having played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) earlier in the year.
She has also played in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) for Guyana Amazon Warriors impressing everyone as she not only became the first Indian to play in the league but also ended up as one of the top wicket takers.

The other major highlight from the probables list of the U-23 Women’s T20 Trophy 2023-24 is Vrinda Dinesh, another youngster who not only played some remarkable cricket at the just concluded Senior Women’s T20 Trophy but also played in the Emerging Asia Cup and is looking in stellar form heading into the tournament. The players would look to make the most of the opportunity to make use of the tournament to seal their place in the senior squad.
The 26-member list for the U-23 Women’s T20 Trophy 2023-24 announced by the KSCA has a list of experienced players. It has new players hailing from different parts of Karnataka. The team will be coached by former India player, Karuna Jain and for the Strength and Conditioning Coach, they have Ms. Kirti and Mrs. Ishita Kulkarni as the Physiotherapist.
