The Hundred 2022: All You Need To Know About LIVE Streaming, When And Where To Watch, Schedule, Squads

The Hundred 2022 will begin with the match between Oval Invincibles and Northern Superchargers at Kennington Oval, London on August 11 at 6:30 PM local time (11 PM IST). The tournament will witness 26 exciting 100-ball matches which are scheduled to take place between 11th August and 3rd September 2022 across deterrent venues. Oval Invincibles are the defending champions as they beat Southern Brave by 48 runs to win the inaugural edition of the tournament. The Invincibles are among the favourites to win this year also.

However, the Hundred didn’t get the services of Australian players who were unable to take part in the inaugural edition due to the mandatory 14-day hard quarantine requirements Down Under. Fortunately, this year, they are taking part and are all set to take the completion to a higher level as well. While Welsh Fire selected Australian star player Nicola Carey, Oval Invincibles went for New Zealand batter Suzie Bates, one of the greatest cricketers in the history of the game as well.

Meanwhile, Trent Rockets picked experienced Australian batter, Elyse Villani, as their overseas pick. On the other hand, Northern Superchargers named Australian international Heather Graham as well. Manchester Originals, however, picked up New Zealand fast bowler Lea Tahuhu who will be with her fellow New Zealand legend Amy Satterthwaite, who has announced her retirement from international cricket this year. New Zealand bowler Jess Kerr will be with her sister Amelia Kerr at London Spirit as well.

Meanwhile, Birmingham Phoenix selected India’s spin all-rounder Deepti Sharma who featured for London Spirit in the first edition of The Hundred also. Southern Brave, on the other hand, secured Australian spinner Molly Strano, the top wicket-taker in the history of the Women’s Big Bash League as well. Smriti Mandhana, the star opener of India will also don the green this season as well.
