To recognize her match-winning contributions, the Telangana government announced a cash reward of Rs 1 crore for Gongadi Trisha. This reward serves as both recognition and encouragement for her hard work and dedication to the sport.
Dhrithi Kesari, another talented member of the U19 squad, also received Rs 10 lakh, despite not getting an opportunity to play in the tournament. This reward highlights the government’s commitment to nurturing young cricketers.
The head coach of the U19 Women’s team, Nooshin Al Khadeer, and the team’s trainer, Shalini, were also honored with Rs 10 lakh each for their efforts in preparing the squad for the World Cup.
CM’s Congratulatory Message
During their meeting, CM Revanth Reddy congratulated Trisha on her stellar performances and expressed his hope that she would continue bringing glory to India. He emphasized the importance of supporting young talent and encouraged her to keep striving for excellence.
“Recently, she performed brilliantly in the Under-19 World Cup and has emerged on the world cricket stage. Trisha, the powerful voice of Telangana, was politely met today. I have announced a reward of one crore rupees on behalf of the state government as a reward for her talent. Wishing Trisha more success in cricket… We have decided to give a compensation of Rs 10 lakh each to Telangana’s Dhruti Kesari, a member of the Under-19 World Cup team, team head coach Nausheen, and trainer Shalini,” Revanth Reddy wrote on X.
