South Africa vs England: South Africa will play England in the second game of the three-match ODI series at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom on Wednesday, December 11. After losing the first ODI, England has recovered and staged a solid comeback. They defeated South Africa by six wickets and have now levelled the series.

South Africa lost the second ODI by six wickets. The hosts batted first and posted 135 before being bowled out. Tazmin Brits and Sune Luus lost their wicket early on in the innings. After their dismissals, Laura Wolvaardt and Annerie Dercksen tried to revive the innings. After they got out, the middle order simply collapsed.

Chloe Tryon made 45 runs to help South Africa get past the 130 run mark. The issue with the Proteas is that their key bowlers are unable to pick up wickets in this series. The home side will look to capitalize on their home conditions and strong performances from players like Marizanne Kapp and Laura Wolvaardt.

On the other hand, England bounced back from the loss of the first ODI in the second game. They restricted SA to 135. Charlie Dean the first England bowler to claim a hat-trick in 25 years. Openers Tammy Beaumont and Maia Bouchier put up a stand of 69 runs to help England square up the series 1-1 in the 25th over of the game.

Heather Knight at number 3 failed to impress and it was Danielle Wyatt, who scored the winning runs for the visitors as they got home with six wickets in hand. Annerie Dercksen took two wickets for the home side. The visiting team will be eager to ride on the momentum wave and win the ODI series.
