Quarter Final 2- Central Zone versus West Zone

Day 2 of the quarter-final had Central Zone end the day on 68/0 in 25 overs, trailing by 43 runs and the match set up well.

Central Zone started with a positive approach with Punam Raut and Nuzhat Parween setting the base for a good total. Parween was the first to fall for 35, as Radha Yadav got the better of her and ended a crucial 68-run partnership. Another quick wicket was delivered by Sayali Satghare who dismissed Mona Meshram cheaply.

Punam Raut held the fort and found partners at the other end, starting with Dayalan Hemalatha with whom she stitched a mammoth 78-run partnership but once again it was Radha Yadav who got the breakthrough with the wicket of Hemalatha.

Punam Raut was looking solid, striking boundaries at will and was then joined by Arushi Goel. The duo set up a commendable partnership posting 148 runs in 218 balls but it was NY Patel who got the prized wicket of Raut for a well-played knock of 174.
