Sarah Taylor and Smriti Mandhana Engage in a Funny Banter

Former England cricketer Sarah Taylor was overjoyed after getting her dream car. One of the most decorated wicketkeeper-batters in world cricket has retired from the game last year due to her mental health issues. However, it doesn’t need to say that Taylor was one of the linchpins of her team.

However, she was seen in a funny banter with her teammates and India openers Smriti Mandhana and Jemimah Rodrigues. She posted the picture of her new car with the caption, “Big thank you to @RivervaleChat and @Allsportinsure in helping me get my dream car. #luckygirl”

Ever since she has posted that, her England teammates have started reacting.

Here are the reactions:

While this was going on at one place, there was something else going on in another place. And who can be better than India opener Jemimah Rodrigues to start a funny banter? She took to Instagram and asked Sarah Taylor, “Who’s a big time now?!”

To which, Taylor replied tagging another India opener Smriti Mandhana. Mandhana didn’t take much time to respond as she reminded Taylor of her Range Rover. She wrote, “I’m sorry but who owns a Range Rover?”

However, Sarah was too quick to respond as she also reminded Smriti of her cafe on a funny not. She added, “hmmm but see who has their own cafe ?”

While the friendly banter didn’t show any conclusion, Jemimah added it’s a tough competition between them. She added, “I think it’s a tough competition between both of you.”

Meanwhile, fans couldn’t stop praising her car and her former teammates Danielle Wyatt, Alex Hartley and others loved that. Even Pakistan captain Bismah Maroof too congratulated her.

However, the most celebrated wicketkeeper-batter of world cricket, Sarah Taylor left everyone in shock when she announced her retirement. With 6553 runs, 7 centuries and 232 dismissals, she took the keeping to another height but what could be better if another best Adam Gilchrist refers to that as “Best in the world.”
