West Indies had a decent outing in the group stages, finishing second in Group C with two wins in three games. They suffered a disappointing 10-wicket defeat against New Zealand in their previous fixture and are now placed in the fourth spot in the Group 2 points table of the Super Six stage.
On the other hand, Rwanda qualified for the Super Six stage after finishing third in Group B with one win in three games. In their previous fixture, they suffered a four-wicket defeat against New Zealand despite a great effort from Rosine Irera.
