India will take on Australia in the Group 1 Super Six match of the ICC U19 T20 World Cup 2023 on 21st January at North-West University No1 Ground, Potchefstroom.

India lived up to their expectations and have performed as per their standards so far in the tournament. They finished first in Group D and are now placed at the top of the Group 1 points table of the Super Six stage. They defeated Scotland by 83 runs in their previous fixture owing to a player-of-the-match performance by Mannat Kashyap, who ended up with the figures of 4-0-12-4. Also, they have the in-form Shweta Sehrawat in the lineup, who is currently the leading run-getter of the tournament with 197 runs to her name.

On the other hand, mighty Australia was shocked in the first game by Bangladesh but bounced back to win the next two games and finish second in Group A. They now stand at the third spot in the Group 1 table of the Super Six stage. In their previous fixture, they hammered Sri Lanka by 108 runs courtesy of all-round performance by Ella Hayward, who scored 36 runs while also taking one wicket.
