Alyssa Healy To Miss The Series Against Pakistan With Injury; Expected To Be Fit For T20 World Cup

Australia will be without the services of their talismanic Alyssa Healy during the ODIs and T20Is against Pakistan. Alyssa Healy was ruled out of the ODIs and T20Is against Pakistan as she has not fully recovered from the calf injury she sustained during Australia’s recent tour of India.

Australia, however, will have enough ammunition in hand as they take on the Pakistani contingent this month. The ODI series comprises three matches that will be followed by the T20I series comprising three more matches.

The first ODI will be held on January 16, Monday in Brisbane. Australia will be the favourite going into the contest. However, the intriguing T20I series gets underway with the first T20I in Sydney on January 24, Tuesday.

Beth Mooney will take up the wicket-keeping duties in the absence of Healy, who continues her rehabilitation toward full fitness. Australian fans will be happy to know that Healy is recovering well and is expected to be fit ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup in South Africa.

Take a look at the ODI squads of Australia and Pakistan:
