India A and Nepal are all set to take on each other in the ongoing ACC Women’s Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023 on Thursday, June 15. The Misson Round Ground in Mong Kok, Hong Kong, will host the game. India A, led by Shweta Sehrawat, had a great start to their campaign by beating Hong Kong by nine wickets on Tuesday, June 13 as well.
After opting to field first, India A bowled Hong Kong out for a mere 34 in 14 overs. Shreyanka Patil, who played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the inaugural Women’s Premier League, starred with the ball as she finished with outstanding figures of 3-0-2-5. And, then they chased down the target with 14.4 overs to spare in the ACC Women’s Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023.
On the other hand, Nepal, led by Rubina Chetry, started their ACC Women’s Emerging Teams Asia Cup campaign by losing to Pakistan Women by nine runs only. After opting to field first, Nepal restricted their opponents to 87 in 19.2 overs. While Indu Barma picked up three wickets, Kabita Kunwar, Asmina Karmacharya, and Sita Magar picked up two scalps apiece. Although Nepal played out 20 overs, they could only reach 78 for the loss of six wickets as well.

The pitch at the Misson Round Ground is not going to be batting-friendly. Bowlers will have the upperhand in the game to a large extent and a low-scoring match can be seen as well.
However, there will be a 50 to 60 percent chance of rain throughout the match, which could witness a short delay and interruption in the match as well.
